Anastasia Taranenko
Anastasia Taranenko is from Dnipro, Ukraine, works at the intersection of queer activism and performing arts. With experience in LGBTQ+ communities, non-binary inclusion, and certified training in inclusive leadership, LGBTQI+ journalism, and queer art, they collaborate internationally on projects in Slovenia, Sweden, and Armenia. Parallel to their activist work, they are a dancer and choreographer studying theatre in Ukraine. Their artistic path includes guest studies at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and training at institutions such as Wiesbaden Theatre and the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company. Their work has been recognized by numerous renowned theatres, including: Wiesbaden Theatre, Mainz Theatre, Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, Koblenz Theatre, Eisenach, Kassel Theatre, Oper Leipzig, Ballet am Rhein, Semperoper Dresden, Bucharest Ballet Company, Yerevan Ballet Company, Magdeburg Theatre, Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, Budapest Ballet & Pacific Northwest Ballet. They have received positive feedback from acclaimed figures such as Vladimir Malakhov, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, and the Isadora Duncan Foundation.
